WHAT IS STATUS OF APUA ?

APUA (Association of Power Utilities of Africa) is since the Extraordinary General Assembly Meeting held on December, 4th, 2012 in Algiers (Algeria) the new denomination for UPDEA that is the Union of Producers, Transporters and Distributors of Electric Power in Africa, a non-profit continental organization that gathers African power generation, transmission and distribution utilities as well as foreign organizations involved in development of the African power sector. UPDEA was established in 1970 with its headquarters in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire.
